These Terms govern your use of the SnagFrame website, Windows application, and related licensing services. By downloading, purchasing, or using SnagFrame, you agree to these Terms.
Using SnagFrame
You may use SnagFrame to capture, edit, save, and share content that you own or are authorized to use. You are responsible for your captures, annotations, exports, and sharing choices.
Free and Pro licenses
The Free plan may be used without charge. A Pro purchase grants one person a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pro features on up to two of their devices. License keys may not be sold, shared, or used to provide access to another person.
Annual subscriptions
Annual Pro subscriptions renew automatically each year at the price shown during checkout unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel from Settings → Manage subscription. Cancellation stops future renewals; Pro access remains available through the end of the already-paid billing period.
Lifetime licenses
A lifetime purchase is a one-time payment for a perpetual personal license to the SnagFrame desktop product, including local desktop updates made generally available to lifetime customers. It does not include separately sold products or third-party services.
Payments and refunds
Stripe processes purchases made through the SnagFrame website. SnagFrame does not store complete payment-card details. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy. Purchases made through a third-party marketplace are also subject to that marketplace's billing and refund rules.
Acceptable use
Do not use SnagFrame to violate privacy, intellectual-property rights, applicable law, or the security of another person or system. Do not attempt to bypass licensing controls, disrupt the service, or distribute malicious content.
Updates and availability
SnagFrame may improve, replace, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We will make reasonable efforts to avoid materially reducing paid functionality and to provide notice of material changes when practical. Online services may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or circumstances outside our control.
Ownership
SnagFrame and its software, branding, and documentation are owned by SnagFrame and its licensors. You retain ownership of the content you capture and create.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SnagFrame is provided “as is” and without warranties not expressly stated here. SnagFrame is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, loss of data, or loss of profits arising from use of the product. Any total liability for a claim relating to a paid plan will not exceed the amount you paid for SnagFrame during the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not apply to you.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as SnagFrame evolves. Material changes will apply prospectively and will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
